Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Birth Oracle, operated by Vincent Tseng, handles information when you use its chart-calculation tools through ChatGPT.

1. Information processed

Depending on the feature, Birth Oracle receives the information submitted to its tools, which may include birth date, birth time (if provided), gender, and a requested forecast date. The hosting infrastructure may also process technical information needed to operate the service, such as connection and error information.

2. Why we process it

Birth details are used to calculate BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu chart results and date-based forecasts, and to return those results to ChatGPT for interpretation. Technical information may be used for service operation, security, troubleshooting, and reliability.

3. Storage and retention

Birth Oracle's current application design does not intentionally save submitted birth details to a user database or persistent file. Requests are processed to produce a response. Temporary in-memory processing may occur during a session.

Application errors and service events may appear in hosting logs. Birth Oracle currently runs on Railway's Trial plan, for which Railway documents a seven-day log retention period. Hosting plans and retention policies may change; applicable technical-log retention follows the hosting provider's current policies. We cannot guarantee that error logs never contain submitted information.

4. Service providers and disclosures

Tool requests originate from ChatGPT, a service provided by OpenAI, and are processed on infrastructure hosted by Railway. These providers may process information under their respective terms and privacy policies. We do not intentionally sell birth details or share them with advertising partners. We may disclose information if legally required or necessary to protect the service.

5. Your choices and requests

You can choose not to provide birth time, although this limits available features, or stop using the service. For questions about data handling or requests relating to information under our control, email mypiesay@gmail.com. Because we do not maintain user accounts or a birth-data database, we may not be able to locate an individual past request. ChatGPT conversations and account controls are managed by OpenAI, not Birth Oracle.

6. Security

We use hosted infrastructure and take reasonable steps to limit unnecessary collection. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version will be posted here with a revised effective date.
