Using Birth Oracle

These terms govern your use of Birth Oracle, operated by Vincent Tseng. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Service description

Birth Oracle provides computational tools for traditional Chinese astrology systems, including BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu, and supports conversational interpretations through ChatGPT. Features and availability may change.

2. Entertainment and educational purposes

Readings are provided for cultural exploration, education, and entertainment. Astrology is not a scientifically validated method of predicting events, personality, health, or outcomes. No result is a guarantee or statement of fact about your future.

3. Not professional advice

Birth Oracle does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Do not use readings as the sole basis for important decisions. Consult a qualified professional when appropriate.

4. Inputs and responsible use

You are responsible for the information you choose to submit. Do not submit another person's sensitive information without appropriate permission, misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access.

5. Accuracy and availability

Calculations depend on the supplied inputs and the conventions implemented by the tool. Incomplete birth information can limit results. Conversational explanations may contain mistakes or different interpretations. The service is provided on an “as available” basis, without a guarantee of uninterrupted access or error-free results.

6. Third-party services

Birth Oracle is accessed through ChatGPT and hosted using third-party infrastructure. Your use of those services may also be subject to their separate terms and policies.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Birth Oracle and its operator are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on readings or interruptions of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
